Why Am I Here?

As an educator, every year I find myself grappling with the age-old question of "Why." Why am I in education? What made me choose this path of becoming a teacher? Why do I persist in this journey? Admittedly, there's a part of me that's a bit tired of answering these same questions year after year, especially when I could be focusing on crafting curriculum, planning lessons, or setting up my classroom. But amid this sense of repetition, there's a deeper understanding that reflecting on these questions adds purpose and meaning to what we do. So, once again, I'm here to explore another "why." Why am I pursuing a Master's of Education in Learning Design and Technology?

As I dive into explaining my reasons, let's take a step back and reflect on my journey so far in the master's program at Arizona State University. When I initially embarked on this adventure, I was on the lookout for ways to nurture my growth as an alternatively certified educator who's all about embracing technology.
